Your cards, collectibles, and memorabilia can do more than sit in a box. Donate them and we'll put them to work for kids, first responders, and veterans in our community.
What We Accept
We accept donations of sports cards, trading cards, memorabilia, and collectibles — any sport, any era, any condition worth donating. Not sure if your collection qualifies? Contact us and we'll let you know.

Use our Donation Form & Acknowledgment of Receipt when donating cards, memorabilia, or collectibles. Download the PDF to print, or choose the editable Word version to complete on your computer.
Complete sections 1–3, include the form with your donation, and keep a copy for your records. Finn Dawg’s completes section 4 after receiving the donated property. For a larger collection, you may attach an itemized inventory.

Tax Information for Donated Property
Finn Dawg's Cards & Collectibles for a Cause Inc. does not provide appraisals or valuations for donated property. Donors who wish to claim a tax deduction for donated property should obtain an independent qualified appraisal as required by IRS rules.
We will provide a written acknowledgment of your donation upon request. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor. EIN: 39-3565456
Ready to donate your collection?
Contact us to arrange a drop-off or pickup, or ask about items you would like to donate. Tell us what you have, roughly how much, and your town so we can help with the next step.
The donation list is optional before you get in touch. It opens in Google Sheets and asks you to make your own copy. If you use it, email your completed list to finn@finndawgs.com and include a copy with your donation.

What can I donate?
We accept sports cards, trading cards, memorabilia, and collectibles. If you are unsure about an item or its condition, ask us before sending it.
Can I drop off my collection or arrange a pickup?
Drop-offs in the Hudson Valley and Capital Region are by arrangement. Contact us before coming. If you are outside those areas, contact us to discuss pickup by appointment.
Where should I mail my donation?
Mail donations to PO Box 711, Port Jervis, NY 12771. Pack items securely; we recommend tracking for valuable items.
Can I donate an inherited collection?
Yes. If you are handling a family collection or an estate, start by telling us what you know about the items, their approximate quantity, and where they are located. You do not need to identify every card before asking us about a donation. Please confirm that you are authorized to donate the items.
What if my cards are common, unsorted, or of uncertain value?
Describe what you have and its condition when you contact us. If you know the sport, card type, or approximate years, include those details. If you do not, a general description is a useful starting point. We can discuss whether the collection is a fit before you pack or ship it.
Do I need a detailed inventory before contacting you?
No. An approximate number of cards, boxes, binders, or other items is enough to start the conversation. Our optional donation list can help organize a larger gift, but it is not required for an initial inquiry.
How should I package cards and collectibles?
Use sturdy boxes and enough cushioning to prevent movement. Keep cards in suitable holders, boxes, or binders where practical, protect corners, and keep moisture out. Contact us before sending unusually large, fragile, or valuable items so we can discuss delivery arrangements.
Who pays for shipping, and can you take a large collection?
Contact us before making shipping or freight arrangements. Tell us your town, approximate collection size, and any delivery constraints so we can discuss logistics and shipping costs. Do not assume that shipping, freight, or pickup costs will be reimbursed.
Can you tell me what my donation is worth for tax purposes?
We do not assign a tax value to your donated collection. Keep your own records and consult your tax advisor about valuation, documentation, and any appraisal requirements before donating.
For card shops, businesses, and estate representatives
Have surplus inventory, a large collection, or items from an estate? Contact Finn Dawg’s to discuss a potential donation before arranging delivery.
Include the type of items, approximate quantity, general condition, and town or region. For a business or estate gift, please also identify your role and the organization or estate you represent. We will discuss suitability and the next steps with you.
